Helen Sear is an innovator of sorts. She magically combines art with photography to create intriguing works that have a ghostly element to them. Having been involved in photography for over fourteen years now, she uses her skills to manipulate photos by painting on them using a computer. Her work becomes a veil to look at, and to look through.
“It explores ideas of vision, touch and the representation of the nature of experience, demonstrating an enduring interest in landscape in relation to both the human and the animal body,” says Sear.

These wonderful shots are from her two projects Beyond the View and Inside the View.
