Tilt-Shift Van Gogh

While Vincent Van Gogh was an Impressionist painter, I’ve always found his artwork to be pretty surreal, with his daub-paint effect warping landscapes. Artist Serena Malyon bent their reality even more, adding tilt-shift photography effects to 16 of his popular works.

After seeing how tilt-shift photography could make real world scenes appear like miniature models, the folks over at Artcyclopedia decided to simulate the effect on Van Gogh’s famous paintings. Using Photoshop, they manipulated the light and adjusted the focus to make us see these paintings in ways we could have never imagined.
Amazingly, nothing in these paintings was changed, added or removed. The incredible illusions are all created by Photoshop.
