Lima, Peru-born artist Cecilia Paredes might just remind you Liu Bolin.
Cecilia Paredes brings us to face the body memory as the foundation of culture, and for this, she differs from the feminine victimization in Judeo-Christian tradition, scheduling the escape through nature, a nature proposed as an indivisible extension of herself.
The artist experiments with her own body and registers in photographic support the anatomical fragments that were the object of actions of performative nature, in which the sacred and the profane, the human and the animal become one single thing.
